We at laterrabakery are proud to partner with The City University of New York as they host their sixth annual TEDxCUNY Conference. The TEDxCUNY Conference is one of the biggest TEDx events in the nation. This year's theme is “Worth Searching For”, challenging human discomfort with obstacles and celebrating the strength that accompanies our curiosity and ability to dream.

A very special SUPERHERO loving boy, Ender Pittman

A very special superhero loving boy, Ender Pittman, is battling an illness that has been challenging doctors since Christmas Eve when he was admitted to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center with no mobility in his arms, legs, hands, and feet. He currently remains in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s. A Pancake Feed fundraiser is being held with the proceeds going to help with his medical expenses and on-going care. We are proud to support this superhero and his family by donating laterrabakery hair accessories to the silent auction. Ender, you’ve got this, buddy! Keep on fighting!

Big Night Out - Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC - laterrabakery

laterrabakery recently partnered with Young Professionals Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC and donated 150 of our blue and pink ombre 5- pack hair ties to their fundraising event, Big Night Out. Their Big Night Out fundraiser will host over 900 NYC-area young professionals and has a goal of raising over $200,000 for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring program. They make meaningful monitored connections between adult volunteers and children to help develop positive and lasting relationships in children's lives.

Boston Marathon, Mass General Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Team and laterrabakery

The staff at laterrabakery is all about helping those who are bettering the lives of others. We are proud to support many great causes around the country. We recently had a Pediatric ICU nurse, Laura Viel, who is running the Boston Marathon in support The Mass General Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Team reach out to us and ask us to donate products to help support her cause. We were more than happy to do so. Our team put together some gift bags of our famous hair ties and tie on headbands for her fundraiser. We were honored and proud to help Laura in her mission “Fighting Kids Cancer One Step at a Time.”
